The Parish Choir of St. John's is the representative choir of the church and sings for the 9 a.m. service on Sunday mornings. The Parish Choir sings music in the Anglo-American choral tradition from the Tudor period to the present day. This choir is also made up entirely of volunteers and participation is open to anyone, regardless of ability. Representing a variety of walks of life and age groups, choir members are united by a commitment to the service of worship, desiring to do their best, to learn and be occasionally challenged. In addition to Sunday mornings, the Parish Choir also leads the annual Festival of Lessons & Carols at Christmas and sings Choral Evensong 3-4 times per year. Festival services may also include a sung mass. The Parish Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. and is led by Stephen Leist, Organist-Choirmaster of St. John's. Interested persons are encouraged to contact the church at 873-3481.

The Song Leaders at the 11:00 prepare and lead music from many sources --from contemporary Praise sources and popular Christian rock, to the hymnals. Participation is also open to anyone who wants to join. They rehearse on Wednesday nights from 7:30. Guitars and the occasional string bass and percussion join Allison Asay, 11:00 Music Director, on the piano.
